There are a couple of other minor changes I won't bother to list here. But I have long said that everybody should find the way of playing APBA that is the most fun for them.īasically (pun intended), the DVAL boards are APBA's BG boards with the changes I listed before - MG pitching grades, MG fielding Column Finder Chart and eliminating the BG results where it is occasionally better to have a worse fielder. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the playing experience one is looking for. One could quibble with the percentages but the point is that the OZ boards have incorporated more MG features into their boards than the DVAL boards did. The way I have described it in the past is if you put the BG out of the box at one end of a spectrum and the full MG at the other end, the DVAL boards are maybe 35% of the way from the BG end toward the MG and the OZ boards are maybe 70%. I saw Dom's post about the Marino boards and he certainly is the expert on those. BTW what is the difference between your DVAL boars and the Marino or OZ boards?
